A mobile gift shop service to care homes and sheltered housing across the UK enabling people to find it hard to get out to buy gifts, at a fraction of the high street price!

Sassi Gifts was formed in 2012 by Sandra Samra who is an ex nurse and could see an opportunity to supply a unique mobile gift service to residential homes and sheltered housing.

As well as providing this service to the care and sheltered housing industry, you can offer home parties and attend fetes / events. As we do not have the over heads of a shop we are able to offer affordable gift items to our clients whilst making good profits. Due to many carehome groups contacting us to supply into their homes we are now expanding our growing team of franchises.

This role suits people who need to work school hours or flexible hours and as it is your business you can control your own diary, decide the hours you want to work and go on holiday when it suits you!

To succeed in this business you need to be ambitious and driven, wanting to earn an excellent return for working as many hours as you choose (most of our franchises aim for 4 to 5 sales a week – a sale tends to last an hour which enables you to fix your business personal life around this role). Developing your area will take some work by calling care homes, emailing, letter writing and use of social media to spread the word of your business. Once you have got a booking for a sale, you will find the homes will rebook you as they enjoy the service so much.

A car and a phone is essential for this role – so please only apply if you have both of these.


The joy of joining Sassi Gifts is the fact you are providing a service which brings a smile to not just the residents of the care homes and sheltered housing but the staff who also enjoy the great priced gifts. You will make money whilst drinking tea and chatting!

Investment Required:

We have 3 Franchise Options to suit peoples budgets:

1) £99 – Start up For this cost we will produce your contract confirming your area, ensuring no one else will be working the agreed area but yourself. We will open up the supplier accounts and sending you all training packs and templates. You can purchase company formatted business cards and flyers via head office (cost confirmed depending on qualities and we would expect you to order business cards in your first month) or we can arrange for our logo set template to be sent to a Vistaprint account so you can order your own marketing materials in our company approved format. You are then responsible for all calls, emails and marketing to the homes in your area.

2) £150 – for this price you get a kick start to your business making homes aware you have started a franchise:  100 business cards  An email marketing campaign to the homes in your area (where we can get email addresses)  Email marketing campaign to head offices of homes in your area

3) £250 – for this price you get the following, ensuring your business is up and running in the quickest time:  1000 flyers  100 Business cards  Calls made from head office to establish 6 confirmed appointment contacts (Further confirmed appointments can be requested at a cost of £25 per appointment).  Email campaign to the care homes in your area so they are aware of the business when you start to contact them.

All of our Franchises benefit from group purchasing power with suppliers, which are reviewed on a regular basis.



4 sales per week would ensure you were making a good profit (each sale is about 1 hour long with 30 mins to set up and clear away).


We have franchises turning over in excess of £11000 pa working part time. You make make the business as profitable as you want depending on the hours you want to put in.

I am so glad I took on the Sassi Gifts franchise for the Bristol area. It is a great, low stress way of earning a living that fits in with running a home and family- it doesn’t even feel like work!

If you are self-motivated, confident and enjoy talking to people I can thoroughly recommend taking on a franchise. Generating leads and bookings is easy and I would say that I take bookings for around 80-90% of the establishments I contact. Everybody enjoys a visit from the Sassi Gifts shop and it’s lovely to chat to the residents, they always enjoy seeing somebody new as well as doing a little shopping.
